User Guide

The GSOFT Smart Switch Box is a powerful IoT-enabled device, offering advanced features that surpass typical smart switch boxes available in the market. It simplifies and enhances home automation, delivering both convenience and performance.

Out of the box, it functions as a traditional switch box once connected to a power source. Users can control appliances via touch switches or a remote control. However, to unlock its full smart capabilities, the device must be connected to the internet.

To enable internet functionality, users must configure their home Wi-Fi router or mobile hotspot credentials in the switch box. Detailed Wi-Fi setup instructions are provided in the following sections.

Wire connection

Warning! Ensure that the main electrical power line (EB), UPS, and any other power sources are completely shut down before proceeding.

Follow the steps below to properly wire the device.

1. Power-Up Switch Box

  • Connect either EB or UPS power supply to the terminals labeled:
    • P (Phase)
    • N (Neutral)
    • E (Earth)
While using UPS is optional, it is recommended for uninterrupted power.

2. Switch Terminal Connection

There is no internal link between the power input terminals and the switch outputs. Users must manually connect wires from their power source (EB or UPS) to the IN terminal for each switch. Corresponding output should be connected via the OUT terminal.

This design simulates a traditional switch for easier installation and user-friendliness.
