The GSOFT Smart Switch Box is a powerful IoT-enabled device, offering advanced features that surpass typical smart switch boxes available in the market. It simplifies and enhances home automation, delivering both convenience and performance.
Out of the box, it functions as a traditional switch box once connected to a power source. Users can control appliances via touch switches or a remote control. However, to unlock its full smart capabilities, the device must be connected to the internet.
To enable internet functionality, users must configure their home Wi-Fi router or mobile hotspot credentials in the switch box. Detailed Wi-Fi setup instructions are provided in the following sections.
Warning! Ensure that the main electrical power line (EB), UPS, and any other power sources are completely shut down before proceeding.
1. Power-Up Switch Box
There is no internal link between the power input terminals and the switch outputs. Users must manually connect wires from their power source (EB or UPS) to the IN terminal for each switch. Corresponding output should be connected via the OUT terminal.
This design simulates a traditional switch for easier installation and user-friendliness.
The GSOFT Smart Switch Box supports intuitive web interfaces including a mobile app and website.

The timer function is a powerful tool that allows users to automate switches and fan speeds based on predefined schedules.
Note:An internet connection is required only during the timer creation or deletion process. Once configured, timers operate independently without internet.
Timer Types:
| Once | Executes once and deletes itself. |
| Daily | Triggers every day. |
| Weekly | Triggers on selected day of the week. |
| Monthly | Triggers on specific dates each month. |
| Yearly | Triggers on specific dates annually. |
The new timer will appear in the timer list for that switch.
Scene is an advanced and powerful feature of a home automation system. It allows users to control multiple switches across different switch boxes through both software and hardware events. Users can configure individual delays for each switch, providing greater flexibility to achieve their intended operations via the smart box. It also supports the inclusion or exclusion of specific events based on user preferences. Since scene triggers are executed by the server, the device must have an active internet connection.
Multi-user support is an advanced feature that allows multiple household members or guests to use the device without sharing their personal login credentials. It enhances security and provides transparent access control to the device.
The new user will now be able to view and control the device, as well as create, view, and delete scenes, users, and more.
| Touch Refresh | The touch switch is a modern feature in the switch box that provides a smooth
and pleasant user experience. However, environmental factors may occasionally affect
touch sensitivity. If issues occur, press the Touch Refresh button to recalibrate
the system based on the current environmental conditions.
